Breather Valves

Breather valves are essential components in low-pressure storage tank protection systems, designed to automatically relieve pressure and break vacuum at specific set points. These valves ensure tank safety by regulating pressure within the specified range, reducing emissions, and preventing over-pressurization or vacuum conditions. Once the pressure returns to normal, the valve automatically closes, maintaining a stable environment for the tank. The product adheres to the API 2000-2009 standard for venting atmospheric and low-pressure storage tanks, as well as ISO 16852 for flame arrester performance requirements.

Key Features

Efficient Pressure Relief: Optimized valve disc design ensures full valve opening with just a 10% over-pressure, allowing for fast and efficient pressure release.
Wide Activation Range: Offers a broad range of pressure settings to accommodate different tank specifications and operating conditions.
Minimized Discharge Time: Ensures quick response times for pressure relief while effectively avoiding continuous VOC emissions.

These breather valves offer reliable protection for storage tanks, ensuring operational safety and compliance with industry standards.
